A Home for Senior Christian Living

The Western Assemblies Home provides care to all brothers and sisters who fellowship, or have been in fellowship, with a Plymouth Brethren assembly at some period in their life. We have a small, but close-knit group of Christians living in the Home and in its surrounding houses or "cottages."

Our central building and cottages are all within a one block area and are all at ground level, yet with beautiful mountains in the background. Southern California is famous for its mild weather. In Claremont the normal winter daytime temperature varies from 50 - 75 F degrees.

Our location and facilities are outstanding, but what makes Western Assemblies Home a "home" is its people and services. You will find warm Christian fellowship and a staff that provides housekeeping service, three meals a day, laundry, daily health observation, local church services, transportation to doctors offices and occasional shopping trips, with a program of spiritual, social and recreational activities.

Claremont Bible Chapel, a friendly and active assembly, meets just one block from the Home, a pleasant walk along a quiet and safe tree-lined street with level sidewalks. For those who prefer, transportation is provided.

With a Main Building and a number of surrounding cottages in the neighborhood, we provide housing that gives flexibility to meet the needs of residents. We also provide additional care in the infirmary wing of the Main Building for those who require it.

We welcome visitors and inquiries from interested seniors, family members, and friends. You are welcome to visit the Home, meet the believers who live there, visit the Claremont Bible Chapel, and see Claremont first-hand. Visit us soon.
